Yes, I went there. It’s very harsh, but unfortunately very true for many people. Out of all the people who aspire to Make Money Online, most just give up before they even get started. OUCH.
Of the many people who want to start to make money online, many are not willing to make the small investments required. When I say small, I mean small. Have you looked at how much it costs to start a brick and mortar business? If not, take a look at all the costs, once you do this, you will realize how CHEAP it is to start an online business.
When starting out, many get information overload, they see so much different information and don’t know what to do or where to go. Don’t get stuck in this never-ending circle. If you find yourself with information overload, step back, pick 1 thing and focus on that 1 thing. Keep working on that 1 thing until you master it or determine you need to give it up.
This leads right into the next one – Shiny Object Syndrome. When you are struggling or starting out, it’s very easy to get distracted and see that someone is making money by using a different offer, different traffic source or anything different. Stick with the plan man, don’t jump back and forth. Like I previously mentioned, keep working on 1 thing until you master it or determine you need to give it up.
This one will sound funny, some people just never start! They will spend hours and hours reading and in research more, but then never make the leap to taking action! Reading, learning and research is good and needed, but the money is in the action. No action = No money!
Not all advice is good advice. Unfortunately many get stuck with buying coaching programs from people who have not made any money online aside from selling their coaching program. Yes, read that again, isn’t that ridiculous? If you invest into a training program, make sure you use a reputable one such as AffPlaybook. Make sure the people who are giving the training or coaching have actually found success on their own, have a good reputation and have been in business for an extended period of time.
All successful people hold themselves accountable. Do you? If you want to succeed in anything, first you need to believe in yourself and second is you need to hold yourself accountable. If you make a mistake, fine! Address it! If you aren’t where you need to be, fine! Address it, make the appropriate adjustments to get back on track and get where you need to be! Are you keeping track of your progress? You better be!
Now, the number one reason most people FAIL AT ANYTHING. They refuse to invest in themselves. If you won’t invest in yourself, why would anyone else invest in you or your product or what you are selling? If you don’t put yourself ahead of everyone and everything, how do you expect to succeed at anything? Look at the top businessmen such as top CEO’s, business owners, entrepreneurs, etc – They invest more into themselves than anything else. They make sure they provide themselves with constant knowledge, training and they will continue to push themselves to become better and better. Think of the top athletes in the world – if Sidney Crosby, who is arguably the best player in the NHL right now stopped trying to get better. If he stopped getting coached, if he stopped practicing, if he stopped working out, if he stopped trying to better himself – he wouldn’t be the best for much longer. Someone who is willing to work harder would become better (actually many who worked harder would become better).
