Today is the first day for Affiliate Summit West 2016. If you haven’t heard of Affiliate Summit before, it is one of the largest (if not the largest) Affiliate marketing conferences in North American. They host 2 conferences per year. One called Affiliate Summit West, which is typically held in Las Vegas in January. The second is Affiliate Summit East, which is typically held in New York and typically takes place August.

For 2016, Affiliate Summit West is from January 10 to January 12 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel.
For 2016, Affiliate Summit East is from July 31 to August 2 at the New York Marriott Marquis.

Now, why would you want to go to Affiliate Summit? The largest benefit is the networking, you can get network with hundreds of successful and up and coming affiliates. Often long term partnerships/friendships can be formed. This benefits everyone and the industry.

There are also several companies such as affiliate networks, traffic providers and other industry companies that have booths so you can speak with them and form new relationships, or strengthen old relationships.

There are also sessions which are presentations of experts in their respective areas, this is a great place to learn and see what the experts have to say.

So if you are missing Affiliate Summit West this year, that’s ok. There is still time to get prepared for Affiliate Summit East! There is 6 months to prepare. If you are serious about finding success in the affiliate/internet marketing industry, you should find a way to go!
